It’s about more than just selling a home.
For Mamie and Brent Sanders, owners of McArthur Sanders Real Estate, the job is about changing lives.
“When someone is selling a home, they’re getting ready to embark on a new stage of their life,” Mamie says. “And when someone is buying a home, they’re getting ready to start a new phase of life, too. Our company has the honor and privilege of being the facilitator of these important, life-changing moments. We take that privilege very seriously.”
McArthur Sanders Real Estate celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2005. That’s 25 continuous years of serving the real estate needs of folks in Middle Tennessee.
“It’s hard to believe that we’ve been in business this long,” Brent says. “But I think our customers realize that we approach our jobs a little differently than most in this field. We become a part of everything we do. It’s important to us that we help our customers get exactly what they want because we’re helping create an environment for their lives. Whether it’s commercial property or personal property, we’re dealing with people’s homes and businesses. It’s where they spend most of their time. We want them to find exactly whet they’re looking for.”
Integrity is the foundation on which McArthur Sanders has been built.
Mamie and Brent’s commitment to excellence and their philosophy of “getting things right – the first time” – pervades throughout the company and its employees. It is this dedication to service that has helped McArthur Sanders create and sustain a solid reputation in Middle Tennessee.
“We work as a team and rely on each other for advice,” Mamie says. “Many companies can sell real estate, but we believe that people aren’t just a transaction number. To us, the people are the reason we’re doing what we do.”
Mamie has 28 years of real estate experience, and Brent has 37. They became partners in 1980. Their son, Tommy McArthur, Jr., recently has been named president of the company. He heads up the Commercial Properties division and is a certified commercial appraiser. He helps educate the other 39 agents at McArthur Sanders on government-related developments by attending the Williamson County planning and zoning meetings.
McArthur Sanders specializes in residential, farms, estates, historic, commercial and development properties. Because Mamie and Brent have lived in Williamson County for so long, their company is uniquely armed with understanding and knowledge of the full scope of history in Middle Tennessee. As Brent explains, this knowledge is key to their business.
“We know this area better than most,” he says. “We’ve lived here for quite a while and we’ve invested our lives and our company into this community. We stay informed on all governmental, architectural and technical developments. This helps to inform our decisions. As a result, we are better suited to help our customers. Satisfied customers and community involvement are the cornerstones of our success. Just about everything we do is aimed at customer satisfaction.”
